In line with the University of South Florida’s commitment to sustainable, healthy communities, the U.S. Green Building Council will certify the Dr. Kiran C. Patel Center for Global Solutions building as a LEED Gold facility.
The building converges global research and education by strategically co-locating USF’s global initiatives, including USF World, International Services, the Patel College of Global Sustainability, the Patel Center for Global Solutions, the Office of Sustainability, the Confucius Institute, the Center for India Studies, the Institute on Black Life, the Institute for the Study of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Education Abroad, among other administrative offices.
This 72,000 square foot multi use building was designed by Ponikvar Associates Architect and Moses & Associates Engineers and was constructed by Charles Perry Construction, Inc.
